Lily Rabe
American actress Lily Rabe. Her numerous roles on the FX horror series American Horror Story (2011-2021) are her most well-known. In her role as Portia in the Broadway's production of The Merchant of Venice she was nominated to the Tony Award for Best Actress. Some of her film credits include What Just Happened (2008). Pawn sacrifice (2014). Miss Stevens (2016). Golden Exits(2017). Vice (2018). Fractured, 2019. Rabe was also a part of the television show The Whispers (2015). The Undoing (2021), The Underground Railroad (2021), The First Lady (2022) Rabe's screen debut was in 2001 opposite Jill Clayburgh, her mother. She made her professional stage debut, also with her mother, at the Gloucester Stage Company in Massachusetts. She starred in two one-act plays, Speaking Well of the Dead by Israel Horovitz and The Crazy Girl by Frank Pugliese. The roles allowed her to obtain an Equity Card. In 2003, she returned at the Gloucester Stage Company to star in Proof by David Auburn. The same year, she appeared in Mona Lisa Smile. Following her graduation her studies, she returned to New York. Deirdre played in White Jesus from September 29 until October 2, 2004, one of the many one-act shows that were performed by The Democracy Project at The Naked Angels Theater Company.
